Who do you live with?
My foster mom, who is my absolute favorite … except at bath time. The resident dog in my foster home is not dog friendly, so we crate and rotate and don’t bother each other. My buddy Squish and some other dogs come and go. Lots going on around here!
WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE?
I hang out in my crate, aka dog condo.
WHERE DO you sleep?
In my condo. I did get to sleep in bed a couple times with the human lady. I slept the whole night and wasn’t snoring or punching her with my paws. Woo hoo! Maybe that means you will let me sleep in your bed with you?
DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH?
Yes, I love going on short walks around the neighborhood. I’m building distance now that my leg feels so much better!
DO YOU HAVE ANY “NOT SO GREAT” HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?
Not really. I am still a puppy, so part of what I need from you is to show me what is “not so great” since I don’t know yet!
ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED (DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE)?
I was likely left outdoors at my previous home, so potty training is still a process. I need a routine and patience as I learn what you want me to do at your house. Bonus, I don’t go potty in my crate, so if you leave, that is the best place for me to be.
DO YOU LIKE WATER?
Too cold for that! My foster mom tried to get me into the bathtub one day, and I was like “heck no!” But once I got in and had warm water and bubbles, I was chill. Not gonna admit to “liking” the bath, though!
WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY?
I have all the basics and tons of love and patience. It’s pretty simple and I am easy to please.
WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE?
I was at the shelter for a month with a broken leg until I was rescued by NorCal Bully Breed Rescue. After getting out of that place, I’ve been able to heal and now that is all behind me. I’m ready for my forever home and lots of snuggles. Do you want to snuggle with me?
WHAT IS YOUR ADOPTION FEE?
$300
What do you look like?
I have the most fabulous coloring. “Stunning” is a word I’ve head uttered by humans when they look at me. My coat is grey, white and black, but I almost look blue. I’m told they call it a Merle coat, which is extra fancy and unique. I’m also the most perfect size of not too big, not too small….I’m just right!
WHat do you like to eat?
Christmas pillows. Wait … scratch that!!! I eat kibble and love dog treats. I take them gently, even though I get so excited and wiggly, I can barely sit still.
What kind of personality Do you have?
I am shy at first but warm up fast. I really love to give kisses and hugs. I’m sort of a lap dog because I always want to be as close as possible to my human. Keep in mind I am still a puppy so while I’m calm in general, I do love to party! Then we zoom, zoom, zoom!!!!
Describe your perfect day
Oh that is easy! Food, maybe a short walk, toys, toys and more toys. Snuggle time after the human is home from work, and then a yummy treat in my crate for bedtime.
What is your favorite Toy?
I love all toys! Chew toys keep me busy and happy.
Do You Know any Tricks?
I can sit, although my sit comes with the aforementioned wiggles. I’m young and aim to please, so you can teach me more. I might require snacks!
What Scares you?
Loud noises, like the Roomba that cleans the fur floor. That thing is crazy!
Have you been around children?
I sniff them and then immediately expect belly rubs and loving. I might knock little kids down with my excitement, so play time should always be monitored, of course.
Do you like cats?
Not too sure what a cat is.
How do you feel about other DOGS?
I seem to enjoy the company of other dogs. I’d likely do well either with or without dogs in my forever home. I recently met a dog named Squish. We had so much fun walking and playing in the yard! Then we snuggled on the couch and our dog beds. Slow introductions are always best with new friends. Please set me up for success!
If you could be anywhere, where would it be?
I love to be anywhere with my humans!
HOw's your health?
I am a strong, healthy girl. I had a bum leg at the shelter, but that has healed. You can still see it a little bit, but I get around well!
